Constructed from high-carbon DEXSTEEL with a medium-coarse grit surface, it efficiently hones most blade types and is durable enough for the rigors of daily professional use. The steel is magnetized to capture metal particles that may come off the blade during honing, safeguarding against food contamination. A slip-resistant black polypropylene handle with a protective finger guard delivers a secure, safe grip, while the hang ring allows for convenient storage on hooks or pot racks.
