It  contains high levels of humectants and natural oils needed  to soothe the skin and protect it from dehydration.  DermaRad Relief® Rehydrating Emulsion also contains high levels of DermaMedics’  patented “super antioxidants”,  that, like all antioxidants, inactivate skin damaging free radicals. DERMARAD RELIEF POST-RADIATION SOOTHING SKIN SERUM was formulated specifically for use on skin damaged by radiation treatments. This serum is silicone-based and contains NO water and NO emulsifiers that are present in all lotions and creams, but which can sting if applied to broken or blistered skin. This silicone based serum glides onto the skin with NO rubbing and NO irritation. And because of the natural moisturizing oils in the serum, it can rapidly soothe and comfort dry and dehydrated skin.
