Vtg Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll

This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi doll has a classic design (round head, cylindrical body). The body is slightly curved, and it is painted with red floral designs. The facial expression is curious, and it has tufts of black-painted hair with red ribbons. There is an inscription on the back and a sticker on the bottom. It has been brushed with a clear lacquer coating to give it shine.Kokeshi dolls are traditional toys, figurines, and charms crafted from wood that are an excellent decorative representation of Japanese craftsmanship and traditional culture.
